There are many ways to generate traffic to your blog and I have mentioned plenty of them on my blog already, but what I plan on doing today is giving you a list of the methods I found work best.  I have tried many different ways and some of them give short term results while others have given long term results.  I think it is good to have a little bit of both so you get the maximum amount of traffic to your blog.  So below I will split my traffic generation into two categories: short term and long term traffic generation results.

Short Term Traffic Generation:

Yahoo Answers - If you are interested in driving traffic quickly and easily this is a good one for you to try.  What you do is you post answers or questions with links back to your website and write them in a way that interests readers to come visit your website.  You will get hits right away but they usually don’t visit again after the question is gone.

Facebook - I would say that the links you put in your profile are short term.  The reason that is is because all your friends will check out the new link to your blog / website when you first post it up because of the news feeds but then after that it will die down and you usually won’t get anymore new traffic.

Forums - Posting on forums can be a good way to get short term traffic to your blog.  As long as you are posting useful information on the forums and have a good signature with links to your website you will usually get some decent traffic back to your blog.  Usually a lot more traffic then some of ideas mentioned above but then again it is still only be short term traffic.  However one of the other benefits of this type of traffic is the linkbacks to your website which can help raise your PageRank.

Blog Comments - This is pretty similar to forum posts.  Basically you can get a bit of traffic to your blog / website but you are better off doing this to increase your linkbacks which in turn will hopefully increase your PageRank.

Link Exchange sites - Link exchange sites such as linkreferral will generate traffic to your blog as long as you are using them but once you stop so will the traffic.  Most of the traffic generated with this method however is not very good traffic because people are just interested in getting more traffic to their own website.  Since everyone has the same idea in mind no one really sticks around a website to see what it is about.

Twitter - As far as I can see so far this is a short term way of generating traffic to your blog.  May be after getting a very large follower base you can get long term traffic from this but in the mean time you get hits every once and awhile from this.

EntreCard - This is like linkrefferal in that it is basically a link exchange type program.  You can advertise on other peoples blogs and they can advertise on your blog.  It does generate traffic but majority of it is just traffic where people are interested in getting points so they can make more traffic.  It is worth a shot to try but it might not be the best solution in the long run.

Social Networking - This is a awesome way to get a ton of traffic to your blog.  If you can get to the front page of some networking websites you can see up to 50K unique visitors in a day!  This traffic is awesome but it will not last forever and its not easy to get to the front page.  I definitely recommend doing this step but don’t expect to see traffic for months and months after you post something on the website.

PPC Advertising - This is not something I have tried on this website but is something I have done with my full time job.  PPC stands for Pay Per Click advertising and what that is is when you pay for each click you get on your advertising to go to your website.  An example of this is Google Adwords where you see advertisements on the right of the search results.  If you click on them the advertiser has to pay for each click on their advertisement.  This is a very good way to get traffic fast to your website but it will cost you and you will only get it when you pay for it.

Long Term Traffic Generation (The Good Stuff!):

Search Engine traffic - This is really good traffic.  If you can do a bunch of SEO on your blog/website and get a bunch of your pages ranked highly in search engines for key terms then you will get a lot of traffic to your website without a lot of work.  This will always be constant traffic as long as you do not get banned from search engines.  So just be careful not to employ black hat SEO techniques and you should be fine.

Article Directories - This is another way to get long term traffic to your blog.  Once you have submitted enough quality articles to article directories you will constantly get traffic from them to your blog and it is good traffic because people are interested in what you have to say.  So if possible try to always add more articles to article directories.

Link Exchanges - As long as the sites you are exchanging links with do not go under you can usually always get traffic from the links you have exchanged with other websites.  There are rumors that Google doesn’t like this type of traffic generation but I think if you do a little bit of it it cannot hurt your website rank and will bring in some more traffic.

Link Baited Websites - There might be another term for this but this is what I want to call it.  Basically what this is is websites that have linked to your website because they found it interesting and wanted to link to it.  If you can write blog entries that are very interesting to users they will most likely link to it and refer to it in their website.  This is great traffic because it is free and you don’t really need to work for it.

Banner Exchange - This is similar to link exchanges in that you exchange a banner with another website and there is a link on the banner.  It is good for long term traffic as long as both websites stay up and active you can always send traffic to each others websites.

So that is it

For now this is the list of things I have tried so far to generate traffic to my blog.  As mentioned in a lot of the paragraphs some of the traffic generated to the website is a lot better then other traffic but all of them are worth a shot.  I would try some of them yourself and see what works best for you.  And remember as long as you write quality content, lots of content, and do some SEO on your website you should get decent traffic from search engines.

Blog commenting today is another interesting process in SEO that helps in attracting people to a website. By blog commenting we mean leaving behind keyword rich comments on others blogging websites. This technique is used by many bloggers to attract users to their website or entice them to click on links pointing to their website. Usually, if you leave comments on others blogs that are related or relevant to yours, you stand a higher chance of driving more traffic to your website.

There are two ways of finding relevant blogs with whom you can exchange links. The first way is to conduct a blog search by submitting an article and then doing a search for your article to know who else is blogging on it. The second option is to perform a search on Google to find the right blogs.

If you decide on leaving blog comments to boost your SEO efforts, it is important to pick blogs that contain keyword rich and quality content that is similar to yours and also those that are not overloaded with too many comments. Posting comments on blogs that already have too many comments may not be very helpful as the blogger may or may not link back to you as you would hardly be noticed.

However, in order to get the bloggers attention to your comment or posting, you can ask thought provoking yet relevant questions on the subject in the blog. This will help you attract the attention of people towards the link pointing to your site and at the same time will catch the blog owner’s attention as well. This can lead to the owner also engaging in exchanging comments with you.

Blog commenting will be mutually beneficial to you as well as the blog site owner since there would be an exchange of words containing keywords and phrases that are generally searched by users. Besides, search engines also love keyword rich and fresh content.

The main advantage of blog commenting is that it does not cost you anything to post your comments on blogs and also it acts as a word of mouth publicity for you and establishes your credibility.

Hallo,
heute schreibe ich über die Erfahrungen von mir und meinen Kunden mit Onlineshops, Saleapges und ähnlichen Verkaufsseiten.

Ich möchte Sie jetzt nicht mit vielen Statistiken und anderem Kram langweilen, ich bringe es jetzt einfach mal auf den Punkt:

Im Internet bekommen Sie an jeder Ecke einen Onlineshop angeboten. Mal für viel Geld, mal als vermeintliches Schnäppchen und teilweise auch umsonst.

Ich habe mein Internet-Business damals mit zwei fertig erstellten Ebookshops begonnen, bei denen die Produkte (Ebooks) schon mit integriert waren. Wenn ich mich nicht selber weiterentwickelt hätte und meine Ranking Topper Seiten und meine Blogs kreiert hätte, dann würden sie noch heute vor sich hindümpeln…

Das ist einfach so!
Bei dem Riesenangebot im Internet bekommen diese Shops von selber zu wenig Traffic, um lukrativ zu sein.
Kaum ein User sucht eigentlich nach einem Ebookshop, schaut ihn komplett durch und packt sich den Warenkorb voll… das suggerieren einem die Verkäufer oder Internetmarketer, die solche Shops anbieten.

Als Newbie (Anfänger) im Internetmarketing ist man solchen Versuchungen jedoch sehr aufgeschlossen, man denkt, jetzt hat man ein hohes monatliches Zusatzeinkommen, ohne viel dafür tun zu müssen.

Das lässt sich natürlich auch auf andere Produktgattungen übertragen, aber ich habe eben mit Ebooks angefangen.

Wenn man das Trafficproblem in den Griff bekommt und das Marketing komplett umstellt, ich verzichte zum Beispiel komplett auf Google AdWords, dann bekommt man die Umsätze in den Griff.

Aber wenn man nur Links kauft, teure AdWords – Werbung schaltet und auf alle möglichen vermeintlichen Supertraffic Angebote reinfällt, dann verbrennt man nur sein Kapital. Und verkauft vielleicht eine handvoll Ebooks. Das ist bitter und meistens der Grund, warum mich Kunden um Hilfe bitten.

Haben Sie vor, ein Produkt zu bewerben, dann erstellen Sie sich eine Salespage, möglichst nicht zu aufwendig, meistens laufen die hässlichen und primitiven am besten…

Darauf muss man dann eben qualifizierten Traffic leiten. Wie das geht, das beschreibe ich hier im Blog ja ausgiebig.

Wichtig ist, Traffic aus dem Web 2.0 (Social Networks) zu erhalten.
Querdenken ist hier von Vorteil und der gute alte Blog sowieso…

Jetzt nochmal zu den Onlineshops:
Sie müssen die einzelnen Produktseiten einzeln mit Traffic ansteuern, niemals irgendwo einen Besucherlauf ordern mit dem Ziel: “hier ist die Startseite meines Blogs, nun kauft mal schön ein…”
Das funktioniert so nicht, sehe ich aber bei meinen Beobachtungen immer wieder.

Onlineshops sind auch nicht erfolgreich, wenn sie ein Gemischtwarenladen sind.
Wenn Sie Reinigungsprodukte verkaufen, dann bleiben Sie dabei, Bücher oder Kleidung oder was weiss ich sollte man in einem Extrashop anbieten.

Überhaupt eignen sich Onlineshops besser für Waren, die man anfassen kann, digitale Produkte laufen besser auf einer Salespage.

Es gibt von der Firma Gambio einen Super Online Shop auf xt Commerce Basis.Dieser kostet einmalig 149,00 € inkl. ein Jahr kostenlosem Support. Darin enthalten sind ebenfalls alle Module die Sie für einen erfolgreichen Onlineshop benötigen. Ideal für Anfänger die sich auch nicht mit PHP, HTML, MySQL usw. weiter auskennen…

Wenn Sie sich ein wenig mit PHP, HTML, MySQL auskennen, können Sie sich den Shop kostenlos herunterladen, allerdings fehlt da ein Modul mit dem Sie das Aussehen des Shops individuell anpassen können. Die Installation beider Möglichkeiten ist relativ einfach und wird in der Mitgelieferten Bedienungsanleitung gut beschrieben.

Meine Empfehlung : Lassen Sie sich den Shop von jemandem Installieren der so etwas schon mal gemacht hat. Das geht erstens schneller und spart ihnen jede Menge Nerven. Denken Sie nur an die Einbindung von Paypal, Micropayment und wie sie alle heissen…

Bei den Shops die mein Geschäftspartner Herr Schölzke bisher installiert hat, haben unsere Kunden nach drei bis vier Wochen schon die ersten Verkäufe gehabt, und dabei noch nicht einen Euro für Werbung ausgegeben, nur durch ein paar Kleinigkeiten die bei jeder Internetseite gemacht werden sollten.

Internethandel ist sehr arbeitsintensiv, dafür kann man allerdings mit recht wenig Startkapital anfangen und wenn man seinen Hauptjob erstmal behält, dann ist man abgesichert. Niemand kann Erfolg garantieren, aber die Tür zum erfolgreichen Geschäft, die kann man sich öffnen lassen!

Hallo,
heute verrate ich Ihnen, wie ich für mich selbst und für meine Kunden das Problem der Bewerbung und Vermarktung von Dienstleistungen und Waren ( ebooks) gelöst habe!

Nein, das ist keine Hexerei, nur eine frage des Marketings und der Technik!

Ich gebe Ihnen jetzt mal ein konkretes Beispiel anhand einer Webseite, die ich soeben fertiggestellt habe:

Zielsetzung war, ein sehr gutes ebook auf einer Salespage zu bewerben.
Als erstes habe ich mein ebook bei ShareIt hochgeladen und angelegt.
Der Download und die Bezahlungsabwicklung überlasse ich gerne den Profis…und spare Speicherplatz auf meinem Server…

Ich mache es mir etwas einfach, denn Zeit ist Geld, wähle ein Template für eine Salespage aus und schreibe meinen Werbetext.

Ich benutze dazu den Nano Webeditor, da kann ich bequem im HTML-Bereich die Keywords und die anderen wichtigen Einstellungen bearbeiten.

Ich füge das Produktbild ein und verlinke es zu ShareIt. danach den Kaufbutton.
Unten auf der Seite richte ich die Links zum Impressum, Agb, meinem Blog, und dem besonderem Geheimnis…

Ich erstelle als Unterseite neben Impressum und AGB eine Ranking Topper Seite!

Diese Seite bringt mir automatisch den Traffic, da auf ihr 6 Keywords wie zum Beispiel “Schreiben, Buchautor, ebooks und so weiter”, alle Produkte vom grossem Amazon Konzern verlinken.

Ganz legal, denn ich habe die API von meinem Amazon Partnerprogramm eingefügt.

Das Resultat ist:
Ich erhalte Traffic von Amazon!

Vollautomatisch, denn die Besucher meiner Seite kommen wegen der Amazonprodukte auf die Ranking Topper Seite. Ich habe an die 80 dieser Seiten im Einsatz, dieser Blog wird auch von Ihnen angelinkt, deswegen haben sie ihn wahrscheinlich gefunden…

Apropos Blog, der nächste Schritt ist ein Post in einem Blog, der zum Thema passt:

Wer jetzt zum Beispiel einen Ebookshop vom Meissner oder anderen Marketern gekauft hat und sich über schlechte Umsätze beklagt, dem baue ich eine Kombination aus Wordpressblog incl.
